Sometimes we are approached by authors, agents or publishers asking how we select books and requesting that a title is considered for a list.
We look at all suggestions and add books which have excellent feedback from young readers and teachers.
These titles tend to be books which have been recently released. Sometimes pre-release copies are provided to us via national and local booksellers, authors, agents, or publishers, but the majority of titles are picked off the shelf.
Our only requirement is that a book has been published and is widely available from bookshops and online outlets. We are happy to feature writing challenges open to primary age children, secondary age pupils and young adults in the UK.
